There are many things that can be barriers to positive academic growth, healthy personal/social development, and purposeful career and college readiness. The majority of the obstacles that students face are things that happen in life. A robust, evidence based approach to learning, practicing, and applying Social Emotional Literacy (also SEL) can help students recognize how "life stuff" can either hinder or help their ability to succeed. But this depends less on the things that happen to us, and more on how we respond to those things. I'm glad you're here. Let's do share in some learning. - Bryan Manzo, Founder & Creative Director, Why The Face
